Charity Work

The Brooklands School Appeal

Brooklands School Fund is a registered charity close to my heart. It is a small school in North Yorkshire that aims to provide high quality teaching and learning experiences to enable every child, whatever background or their circumstances to have the support needed. The school teaches children with severe learning difficulties and physical disabilities. The school are often over looked as a charity and are desperate to provide extra activities and residentials for their pupils. Brooklands School aims to use the money for an outdoor equiptment.

In order to reach my goal I have planned a few events that I will be sponsored for. Those are as follows;

  • Three Peaks (April) DONE
  • Reading Half-Marathon (March) DONE
  • Fundraising Charity Dinner with Auction - (June 5th, Millfield School, Somerset) DONE
  • Trekking to Everest Base Camp Febuary 2011

So far we have reached a massive amount of £11,360.67

All activities lead up the main event of Trekking to Everest in Febuary. This is a lifetime ambition of mine and having the opportunity to raise money for Brooklands alongside this is a privilege.
